Step 1: Open the Instagram application and enter the chat page by tapping the chat icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 4: The screen will turn black, and some shh emojis will fall from the top of the screen, indicating that you are in Vanish Mode. Send your message as usual. The recipient’s chat window will also be black, and a message will be displayed on the screen indicating that it is in Vanish Mode.
Step 5: When you want to end the disappearance mode and return to the message as usual, tap Turn off disappearance mode at the top of the screen. Both you and the recipient will exit disappearance mode, but you can still see the messages you sent in disappearance mode before closing the window. After that, they will disappear forever.
If you want to turn off this feature, all you need to do is to return to the chat with Vanish Mode turned on. Now, swipe up from the bottom of the chat to turn off the Vanish Mode. You can also click to turn off the disappearing mode function at the top of the chat window. You can switch between the two modes in the chat.
